MOTU is launching a completely revised audio interface under the simple name 828, which replaces all previous 828 predecessor models. The MOTU 828 can be connected to a Mac, PC or iOS device via USB3 with extremely low latency and drivers to a Mac, PC or iOS device and offers 60 audio input and output channels with excellent output channels with outstanding analogue performance powered by the renowned ESS Sabre32 DAC technology and an internal 24-channel mixer with integrated effects processing, including reverb, 4-band EQ and compression. Advanced functions include microphone channel inserts for outboard devices, optical expansion mode, word clock and Wi-Fi control via a smartphone or tablet.
